Founded by lifelong outdoor enthusiasts, Gear Vault was born from a simple frustration: the inconvenience of traveling with lots luggage and too much time spent hauling, storing, and maintaining gear.

We also recognize the desire for 2nd home owners to rent their homes while they are not there.  It doesn't make sense to use high cost and premium space in your home or condo for your gear and clothes.  We know many condos don't offer adequate owners space for all of their mountain gear.

We set out to create a seamless, white-glove service that gives you back those precious hours—whether you’re a local resident, a second-home owner, or visiting for just a weekend getaway.​

Our team combines deep Park City roots with professional gear expertise. Every item you entrust to us is tagged, catalogued, and cared for in our climate-controlled facility, so you never have to worry about moisture damage, wear-and-tear, or forgotten equipment.

But we’re more than just storage. We believe in proactive service including full ski and bike tuning. When you’re ready to play, your gear is not only waiting—it’s been professionally prepped to perform at its peak.
